So the esiest way to explain this is that viewing RAW data can actually be fairly difficult because of its bit depth and generally that raw data comes in all shapes and sizes.
so for example from your screen above of the RAW data that's "normal" for like of a better word to when you try to open something like photoshop and set up and preview it.
I've attached a tor below of what i can see on your graph and just made up the rest but you'll be able to see the tor and the .RAW output
I've also added a pipeline process of gaea to photoshop ( checking) into a render engine ( in this case unity)
You'll see that despite photoshop looking weird and like one of those weird ''what do you see in this ' books
it does in fact render fine.
Not all render engine interperate RAW data the same, so you have to be mindful of that under the "Terrain Definition" and the gaea documentation.
it looks as though the gaea team are planning on streamlining this in their next major update so with hope these kinds of things wont confuse people.
