controlling terrain size

Im trying to control the size of my terrain, I try changing the scale in the Terrain Definition section, but I dont see the size of my terrain changing in the view port. Ultimately, what I would like to do is bring in a height map that I have exported from my game engine that would be 1,500 meter by 1,500 meter and be able to have the terrain in Gaea to be that size.

Hi. I understand that changing these parameters does not change the landscape itself, but its physical size changes. The only difference is this. That is, if we move the landscape 5000 meters in the program, it will be 5000 meters, and if 1500 meters, it will be 1500 meters. But the landscape itself will not change in the view window. I understand that Gaea is not a precise program, but rather a tool for creativity.
