I recently bought a Gaea license and I’m excited to start building environments!
I’m trying to output textures using udim tile numbers in the file names, to be rendered in a vfx pipeline (Maya + Arnold). In the build options I only see filename format options for x and y coordinates, but no udim option.
In software like Substance Painter, Mari, etc. I’m used to typing in something like $UDIM in the export settings; is there a way to do this in Gaea? So far I haven’t come across anything covering this in the documentation or elsewhere, so I would really appreciate any help!
If there isn’t a way to export files with udim naming, I would love to hear if anyone has come up with an easy workaround. Hand-renaming each texture file after export isn’t an option in this case because of the large number of files and potentially frequent updates.
