@THEAETIK The resolutions are now part of the, well, resolution dropdown itself. Directly select the final resolution you want, no need to resample. Resample option is gone completely.
That said, there's an option to bake the cached 2k version itself. I don't know what you meant by
THEAETIK I used to have the option to Resample Cached terrain into a lower resolution. For example, a 2048x2048 Terrain Downsampled to 1009x1009. It was the build quality of 2048x2048 but just rescaled down.
If that's indeed the case (preserving 2k details in 1k version), it can no longer be done.
However, I can't see how that could have been the case before either. You can preserve the "structure" of higher resolution in lower res, but I don't know how you can preserve "detail" this way, especially in a heightmap based on B/W pixels.
Best you can do is build higher res, import the higher res file into gaea, and resample into a lower resolution build. Its just one extra step after build. In your case use the "File" primitive to import your 2K terrain, plug it into a "chokepoint" (to avoid some gaea glitches that can happen unexpectedly with file inputs). Mark the chokepoint for export, set resoultion etc in build manager, and build. Should resample the same way as before, if I'm not mistaken.
Hope this helps.
